Hi there.
My name is Ben, I take pictures. While I'm always up for new things, I specialize in Portrait, Wedding and Commercial photography. I primarily work out of Omaha, Nebraska where I was born and raised, however my work has taken me other places through-out the country.
Stylistically I prefer to shoot in a more journalistic style, capturing my subjects as I find them, in a candid setting. I try not to pose my subjects too often, as I find that can stiffen them up and put their mind in the wrong place, and that always shows in the image. Instead, I prefer to capture people with a more natural feeling; my goal is to get people to loosen up and take their mind off of the scary camera. In general this usually results in good looking images that actually give a fair representation of what you look like at your best.
Weddings
Wedding photography is hands down my favorite to shoot. One long day full of awesome photos with excited and happy people, what's not to love? When it comes to weddings I feel like everyone should have access to affordable weddings, and because of that I do not enforce packages, but price my work on a case by case basis. I feel like everyone should have quality photos on their special day, regardless of whether they're getting married in a backyard or a massive chapel.
Portraits
Portraiture is what originally made me fall in love with photography, and I would love to help you look your best. Whether you're after a quality senior photo that captures your unique personality and not how a "photography factory" sees you, or just a nice picture to send your mom on mothers day, I would love to help you capture your best side.
Commercial/Promotional

Every project is different and I like for my pricing to reflect that. I've never been a fan of forcing people into pre-set packages. I've always thought it seemed like an under-handed way to up-sell people on services they weren't really looking for.
